| Great News To Government V.A.T Reduction in UK (2008)... |
I think it makes a change that this countries
government, has started to be a little less
greedy, when it comes to TAX Charges!!! It's good
that from: 1st December 2008, V.A.T, has now been
reduced from: 17.5% to: 15%. Maybe the government
will also consider makin' other changes for the
better...

| Paul Newman, Died At: 83... |
Paul Newman, was like a god. Paul died: 26th
September 2008, at the age of: 83 (Cancer). He
will be well remembered an' missed...

| Clive Hornby/Jack Sugden, Died at: 63... |
Clive Hornby, the longest-serving cast member of
Emmerdale, died: Thursday 03rd July 2008, aged:
63.
Hornby played Jack Sugden in the ITV soap from
February 1980 until three months before his
death.
After 28 years playing the farmer, he was forced
to retire from the screen due to ill health in
April. His family requested that details of his
illness were not published.
Emmerdale series producer Anita Turner
said: "This is a devastating loss and we are all
deeply saddened"...

| WYNNE'S GARAGE/IMPERIAL GARAGE, DICKSON ROAD, BLACKPOOL, FY1 2HQ... |
I've just had repair work completed on my car,
durin' the the month of: July 2008, at the above
named garage. My car required 2 new gear cables
fittin'! They had my car with them for 2 days,
whilst the work was carried out, as the cables
needed orderin' from their supplier. I dropped
off my car with them, with the body work in
perfect condition. They contacted me an' told me
that the work was now completed, so I arrived at
the said garage an' paid my bill, of: £140. As I
approached my car I noticed that the passenger
door had been damaged, within the time they had
my car with them, also the central section around
the base of the gear stick kept fallin apart (I
think my 13 year old daughter could have
done a much better job an' for less a price,
without any damage). I went back into the garage
an' spoke to the manager, about the problem. He
told me that the damage had not been caused
whilst there, even though you could see it was
really fresh an' just been done! He told me since
I was causin' such a problem over it, he refused
to rectify the problem which they had caused
around the central section base of the gear
stick. I told him I would take the matter
further, where he decided to become very
threatenin' toward me, so I left! I am now takin'
the matter further, through my insurance company
an' maybe the courts! Pleeeaze be warned about
this garage, as I would not like to see this
problem, faced with anyone else...
